Transformation Part 1

Living a life balanced between reality and dreams…

Well, my husband and I bought our first house the beginning of this year. Three bedroom, one full bathroom, a converted garage with a half bath, and a fenced in yard. Wow, I feel like an adult now…sort of. 🙂 Thankfully, my husband is a visionary and could see it’s potential, because after all the paperwork was signed, the paint up, the kitchen remodeled, this house is the perfect home for us. So for the next couple of Wednesdays, I’m going to share with you all the process of making this house our home. And what a process that was with two kiddos and moving in two-and-a-half weeks after closing. Insane. You know, we  had to keep our Super Bowl tradition, but this time in our new home. Makes me exhausted just thinking about those days. So, for today, the before pictures:

The kitchen:

Dining Room:

Doesn’t look too bad, but that’s carpet in the kitchen & dining area. And the drawers were falling apart and some were unable to move. Pretty much paneling on all walls, except two bedrooms, bathroom and the converted room which we now call the office/guest room. On the whole: a nice, clean house that needed some updates. 🙂

Stay tuned!
